SONSOLES RUIZ SÁNCHEZ
Fue criada en un pueblo de Guadalajara, El Casar, cuya proximidad con Madrid le permitió estudiar en la Escuela num. 1 de Artes y Oficios “La Palma”, donde se titularía como Técnico Superior en Artes Aplicadas al Muro.
Desde niña consideró que la mejor manera de jugar, de pasar el tiempo, de divertirse y de aprender implicaba tener el arte y la creatividad presentes. Comenzó a pintar y dibujar siendo muy pequeña y su curiosidad le llevaría a aprender por sí misma, hasta tener la oportunidad de formarse.
Se dedicó al mundo de los murales y la pintura decorativa casi exclusivamente durante 12 años, mayoritariamente en Marbella, ciudad a la que llegó en el año 2002; a partir de 2012, comienza a dar clases de dibujo y creatividad a niños y adultos. Poco a poco, esta se torna en la actividad que más tiempo ocupa en su día a día, hasta que en 2017 se lanza a abrir su propia escuela de arte: "Arte Sonsoles, Escuela-Taller", en San Pedro de Alcántara. Hoy continua enseñando a alumnos de todas las edades todas las técnicas que conoce de dibujo y pintura, tarea que combina con la dirección de su centro.
Su trabajo como artista fue girando progresivamente hacia la pintura de caballete, a la que se dedica sin descanso desde 2015. A diferencia de otros artistas, que siguen una línea constante en su vida profesional, ella es amante de todas las técnicas, las disfruta y utiliza adaptándolas a cada momento personal. En los últimos cuatro años ha dedicado la mayor parte de su tiempo a pintar con acrílico, concretamente abstracto que poco a poco evolucionó hacia el paisaje, dando lugar a la colección "Paisajes del Alma". Además se ha especializado en el retrato y el bodegón a pastel.
Actualmente coquetea con el óleo de nuevo, técnica que ha empleado anteriormente en proyectos por encargo; sin embargo, ahora investiga, buscando su propio lenguaje y dando paso a una expresión mucho más colorista y desenfadada.

Since she was a child, she considered that the best way to play, to pass the time, to have fun and to learn involved having art and creativity present. She began to paint and draw when she was very young and her curiosity would lead her to learn on her own, until she had the opportunity to be trained.
Dedicated to the world of murals and decorative painting almost exclusively, for about 12 years, mostly in Marbella, city where she arrived in 2002; as of 2012, she begins to give drawing and creativity classes to children and adults. Little by little, this became the activity that occupies the most time in her daily basis, until in 2017 she opened her own art school: "Arte Sonsoles, Escuela-Taller", in San Pedro de Alcántara. Today she continues teaching students of all ages all the drawing and painting techniques that she knows, work that she combines with the managing of her centre .
Her work as an artist was turning towards easel painting, to which she has been dedicating herself tirelessly since 2015. Unlike other artists, who follow a constant line in their professional life, she is a lover of all techniques, enjoys them and adapts them to each personal moment. In the last four years she has dedicated most of her time to painting with acrylic, specifically abstract painting that little by little evolved towards landscapes, giving rise to the "Landscapes from the Soul" collection. She has also specialised in portrait and still life in pastel.
Currently she flirts with oil again, a technique that she has previously used in commissioned projects; however, now she investigates, looking for her own language and giving way to a much more colourful and carefree expression.
